Lukuvuoden 2019-2020 opetustarjonnastamme on julkaistu (syksyllä alkavat opinnot). 

Ilmoittautuminen polkuopintoihin, joihin opiskelijat valitaan valintakokeen tai ennakkotehtävän kautta, alkaa 24.6. klo 10.00. Ilmoittautuminen opintokokonaisuuksiin ja niihin polkuopintoihin, joihin opiskelijat valitaan ilmoittautumisjärjestyksessä, alkaa 30.7. klo 10.00.

Oulu Game LAB is an interdisciplinary education program, tailored to meet the needs and requirements of the modern, fast-moving gaming industry. Besides assisting in the development of specialised skills required for the game building field, Oulu Game LAB also supports the recycling of talents in effort to decrease the unemployment rates in the area through the creation of new jobs and opportunities.

Our mission at OGL is to help support the industries upward trend by producing new game industry jobs, companies and professionals in the Oulu region. In the following period, we will focus on closer collaboration with the local Game Industry; aiming to increase the amount of participants are getting a job after our programme.

We are looking for a keen interest or professional experience in your area of expertise and a tangible enthusiasm for gaming. Professional game development requires diverse and deep expertise, and the ability to work well in a team and to cope effectively with pressure.

Student allowance

Studies at the Open UAS are not entitled to any student allowance.

Further Information

You must have done Demo Path studies (30 credits) before Product Path -studies.

If you have paid 300 euros in spring term 2019 for Demo LAB studies, you do not have to pay the fee again for Product Path studies.
