Alla näet syyslukukauden 2019 yksittäisten opintojaksojen tarjonnan. Yksittäisiin opintojaksoihin opiskelijat valitaan ilmoittautumisjärjestyksessä.
Ilmoittautumiset yksittäisille opintojaksoille (amk-opinnot) alkavat:

Introduction to Web Development
| Objectives: | The student is able to write solution algorithms for the given problem with the chosen programming language. The student understands the fundamentals of Linux based server administration. The student is able to install server operating systems and maintain systems securely. The student is able to identify the typical phases and activities in the software development process. The student knows the high level differences of the most common processes. The student recognizes the need and use of different tools during software development. The student can describe the architecture of a computer and its operating principle. Foreign students: The student is able to use common Finnish everyday expressions and phrases. The student knows the basic structures of Finnish language and the basics of Finnish everyday culture and habits. Finnish students: The student is able to evaluate and improve his/her skills of Finnish language and communication as a part of professional expertise. Student has skills for planning his/her communication and executing it taking account of objective, situation and recipient. Student communicates appropriately in professional situations. The student can plan and implement project communication. The student is also able to play different roles in a project team and produce project documents and presentations in Finnish. |

Contents
Introduction to Programming (3 ECTS): Understanding problems and expressing problem solutions, operators, control flow statements, functions, arrays and the basics of debugging.
Linux Operating Systems (3 ECTS): Command line shell, data processing, installing and compiling software, the basics of common services and networking, the fundamentals of shell scripting and server administration tasks.
Introduction to Software Development (3 ECTS): Processes and activities in different process phases and tools, human resource roles in different process phases.
Device Technology of Computer (3 ECTS): Computer architecture, the basic principles of a CPU and memory, assembling a PC and installing an operating system.
Foreign students: Finnish Language and culture 1 (3 ECTS): Basic vocabulary and grammatical structures, everyday phrases and Finnish culture and habits.
Finnish students: Professional and Project Communication (3 ECTS): Communication skills in Finnish needed in studies and in professional field of degree program. Communicative situations in future profession. Formal style standards in written communication. Other emphasis and contents relevant to the curriculum of degree program. Written communication, team communication and presentation in project in Finnish.
